Terms and Conditions of the Teach Me Macrame

Teach Me Macrame is an online digital platform providing macrame patterns, tutorials, and business resources to hobbyists and small business owners. 
These terms and conditions (Terms) constitute the agreement between you (you or your), as the user of any digital product, course, or tutorial offered through this platform, and Rebecca Jane McLennan trading as Teach Me Macrame, ABN 14 944 117 410 (us, our or we).  

By accessing, purchasing, or using any of our digital product offerings on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 
If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.  

Definitions
"Content" means any written, video, visual or sound content available on the Site, including content shared by other users.
"Digital Product Access" means access to any macrame pattern, video tutorial, course or bundle purchased through the Site.
"Site" refers to https://teach-me-macrame.newzenler.com and includes any related web or social media platforms.
"Personal Use Pattern" refers to patterns and tutorials that are licensed for individual use only (not for resale or teaching).
"Business Use Course" refers to patterns bundled with business support materials, licensed for use in workshops, DIY kits, and selling finished products.
"Materials" means any downloadable or viewable files provided with Digital Product Access.
"Post" means any user-generated content uploaded to the Site or its related platforms.  

Our Contract
Your purchase of a digital product constitutes a binding contract for us to deliver the product and for you to use it in accordance with the stated licence type (personal or business use). You acknowledge you have not relied on any representation other than what is explicitly provided on our Site.  

Account Access
You are responsible for keeping your login secure. You must inform us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.  

Licensing and Use
When you purchase a Personal Use Pattern, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to:  
Use the pattern to make macrame pieces for personal use or to sell the physical item;  NOT use the pattern for workshops, kits, digital redistribution or teaching. 

When you purchase a Business Use Course, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to:  
Use the included pattern and business materials to teach face-to-face workshops, make and sell DIY kits, and sell finished items;  Modify only where specified (e.g. inserting your logo into Canva templates);  NOT redistribute, resell, or share the original files or any part thereof.  

All digital product access is governed by the terms stated at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to revoke access if any breach occurs.  

Payments & Refunds
All purchases are final. As digital products are delivered instantly, no refunds will be given except as required by law.  Payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. By purchasing a digital product, you agree to be bound by the relevant payment processor's terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.  

Changes to Access or Pricing
We reserve the right to update product pricing, content or access terms at our discretion. Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance.  

Intellectual Property
All Materials are owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, resell or repurpose any part of the Materials unless explicitly permitted in your product licence.  

Community Standards
You agree not to post any inappropriate, defamatory or illegal content in any affiliated communities, including the Teach Me Macrame Facebook group. We reserve the right to remove access or content at our discretion.  

Content Handling and User Submissions
By submitting content on our Site or in associated communities, you grant us the right to use, reproduce and display that content for promotional and commercial purposes. You warrant that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights and agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your submissions.  

Security and Use of Site
You agree not to tamper with or misuse the Site. You may not duplicate, aggregate or extract data except as required to access your purchased products.  

Disclaimers
We provide our digital products and Site on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding outcomes, suitability, uninterrupted access or the fitness of content for your specific purpose. We are not liable for third-party platforms used to deliver our services, including Zoom, Facebook, or Stripe.  

Interruption to Services
Access to digital products may be temporarily unavailable due to technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any such interruptions.  

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the purchase price you paid for the product in question. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages.  

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss or claim arising from your use of the Site or digital products in breach of these Terms.  

Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, you agree to attempt resolution with us through good faith negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.  

Miscellaneous
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. They represent our entire agreement with you. 
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force.  
By using this site and accessing any digital products, you agree to these updated Terms.

As an Instructor, You represent, warrant, and covenant that: No Submitted Content shall infringe or misappropriate any intellectual property right of a third party. But, if instructor use HEVC compression, it's the instructor's responsibility to pay the royalties to the MPEG-LA, the owner of HEVC patents as appropriate.
